The latest version of Comment Timeout 2.0 is now available. It fixes a bug that was letting comments from spam bots through on older posts. If you are using version 2.0 alpha 1 you should upgrade.

I tried this and works, but I was getting trackback spam so I deselected the “Allow link notifications from other Weblogs (pingbacks and trackbacks” option. Unfortunately, when I did that, readers could not post comments anymore on NEW stories. This is not supposed to happen on Wordpress, so I wonder if this is a bug of your software?
